Bellringer

Since joining the church, I've been facinated with the various nooks and cranies of our old church. The bell tower is one of the places I've explored in depth. Along the way, I made friends with Riff Mildram, the previous bellringer for First Parish. Riff taught me how to ring the bells, the various patterns and when they are used. Riff died a few years ago, and in a letter to Karen Fredricksen, asked me to ring the bell after he was gone. So it falls to me to ring the bell on sundays, at weddings, and funerals when I can make it.
