What a great scouting weekend we had in the seven rivers district!! The Cubs had the chuck wagon derby. With 220 in total attendance, about 60 stayed for the campfire.

Reggie Bear (with some help from my son Brenden) lead us in a version of, (what else?) the bear went over the mountain! (we added in wolves, and Webelos) What a blast!!......Mean while,

While the cubs were still in the woods, Our very own Corky was whipping up an old style fire cooked turkey (that was all the rave) at the district dinner! Peoples expression changed, and a glazed look came over their eye, when describing how good the turkey was! Great job Corky.

Today, at the old colony council's outing to the Pawtucket red sox game, Reggie Bear made the Trinitron!!

With all the wonderful skills learned at wood badge, it is exciting to a) learn to apply them, b) apply them, and c) recognize when you forgot to apply them!!
